~ On That Night~ Chapter 2

I can't believe it, im actually at Ralph Lauren's office...... Everyone's looking so classy and busy, they just ain't sitting in a place..... I pinched myself again, just to confirm if it is all true...... Just when I was about to walk to the front desk, my cell rang, it was Janet..... " Hey Janet, what's the early call all about? Missing me already?" I laughed as I said then, only to hear crying sound on the other side of the call. " Are you ok, Janet? Is there something wrong?" "I'm sorry Carey, its nothing..... I just called to check if you're already there. Just to wish you good luck" said Janet while sobbing away. " I'm fine, Janet, you don't have to worry, I'll see ya later in the office then?" while my mind was still wondering what could be her problem...... Just after I hung up on her, I turned and to my surprise, I saw EVP, Global Retail Brand Development, Charles E. Fagan..... I was like, Oh My God, please save me now before i fall on my knees...... He is quite charming to be and I surely get the clue of him being in Ralph's place as it so suits him......

I walked towards him, and said" Hi, I'm Carey from JWT. I'm here for the new perfume ad that your good company has consigned us to do" I shook my hands with him while smiling at him" Hi Carey, I'm Charles Fagan, I believe you already know me so I don't think I have to intro myself to you" He gave this broad smile with a wink..... For a moment there, I lost my breath and trying to search for it. " Yes, I believe everyone who's into Ralph Lauren should know everyone who's working inside and for him" still trying to catch my breath..... " Let's sit in our office to talk further about this. Annie, can you just get us two cups of French Vanilla. Is that ok with you, Carey?" he turned over t0 look at me for an answer. "Yes, that would be fine. Thank you, Annie" I walked to the path that his hands directed to.......

" So Carey, are you taken?" he asked while hey layed his butt on his seat. I was so shocked to even hear that question. " Huh? I'm sorry but did you just ask me if i'm single?" " Well, if that is what it means, then yes, that is what I asked you." he smiled and continued to sip his french vanilla that was brought by Annie..... I must say the drinks tasted really good. " Yes, I am as a matter affect. Is that going to bring some credit to my work for you, Charles?" I giggled as I said that and I saw the smile on his face which really relieved all my tensed muscles on my face" If you think that is going to help your add, then maybe it might but I would like to warn you, most of us here are single and hunk. I know I should not praise myself but who to blame!" he laughed while " Look, I was just kidding about this whole thing. I looked at you looking so tensed, so I thought I should loosen you up a little" I felt so relieved to even hear that from him and realised how friendly and caring person he can be.......

"Oh Charles, that is so sweet of you to do that. Thank you very much and before I forget, here's something from JWT as a token of appreciation" I took out the mug and handed over to him as he took it with a sincere wide smile...... " Thank you, Carey and do send my thanks to everyone at JWT. I think my work with you'll is going to be great and glad to have you as the representer. Let's talk about the ad now. Well, this new perfume that's coming on line has this tropical smell. Its the summer's edition and to be very h0nest, we are yet to decide what to call it" he giggled as he intercomed Annie to bring over their new idea..... Annie brought it over and sprayed on me, the smell of it was seriously reminding me of summer and how great it's going to be. It had the smell of sunflower and a touch of the pineapples n mangoes...... "Can I suggest, Charles if you don't mind?" Charles was surprised but he still allowed me to suggest him...... "Why don't you call it Sensuous, I sense the summer thru the smell and it gives the appeal of the flowers and fruits that's been added inside." I just smiled looking at the both of them as they looked surprised n shocked..... " Wow, Carey! No one as ever explained to me like this before and I think Sensuous is what we will call it. You are already impressing me. Good Job! Annie, please arrange for a meeting at 3pm today to announce this." Annie just gave me this broad smile and walked away..... I felt so good that I even thought I should ask one as a compliment from him but that is just way too much to even ask your first time customer......

As we we discussing about the idea and how he wants the layout to be, he stopped the discussion and stared at my eyes for a second and gave this very warm smile...... I felt happy and excited about this whole meet up......

After the discussion, I got back to my office and told the whole story about what happened to Tina...... She was jumping out of joy and much more excited than I could ever be...... In fact, she was telling everyone that passes by us..... Just as I turned over, I saw Janet's cabin empty...... Its 12pm now and she's still not in yet. "Tina, did Janet come in?" I asked Tina who was extremely excited about my meet up with Charles of Ralph Lauren...... " No, why are you looking for her?" " Neh, its just that she called me this morning and asked if I'm all ready to meet Charles and I told her I will see her in a while to update..... That's about it." Nope, She hasn't turn in since morning, Carey." said Tina as she walked away to her cubicle......

~On That Night~ Chapter 1

It was that dream again, he's back to kill me.... The only thing that was obvious in the pitch dark dream i had was the red arrow logo on his t-shirt.... I wonder what does all this means.... I'm sweating like i just got dipped in the pool.... I must check on the red arrow logo which i saw on the t-shirt.... Its been almost a year now since this dream been haunting me.... But he is surely someone i know well, he mentioned my name, "Carey, you deserve this so much for what you have done to me!" That voice in the dream, really shivers me to my bone....



It's 6am, i should be get myself ready as i have a meeting with my biggest client, Vogue Magazine on the Summer Special Edition which is about to release in 2 months.... but this dream.... something very close and personal.... 7am on a Tuesday morning, what could possibly go wrong? i'm ready to meet Vogue's Chief Editor, Bennett Bollacks. A very creative, broad thinking and a flirt of life.... He's charm could sweep away any woman's feet.... Well, at least my feet was swept away looking at his charming tan toned, ovalfaced and fine black wavy hair that is just well cut.... I could just look at him all day long.....



Appointment at 9am, I have another 1 1/2hrs before i meet him.... I still have time for a cup of coffee and my all time fav. turkey ham sandwich at 'Papito's Cafe'.... The taste of it with mustard sauce tipped wif pickled cucumber is just the prefect taste for my lovely sandwich..... I could have it for the next 10 years not feeling bored over it....



" How is my lovely Carey darling doing? Come give me ur sweet kiss that's gonna make my day bright!" said Bennett while his arms wide open to give me a warm welcome hug with that flirty sentence.... I love that hug and i so don't mind on that kiss..... Kissed him gently as I placed my butt on his maroon velvet sofa at his cabin.... "So, how's the ideas coming along for your Summer Edition of Vogue.... I heard ur getting Claudia Schiffer to do the cover... Is that true?" I asked him as I was taking my laptop out of my case..... I had some design that I needed to show him in order for him to prove it for the Summer Edition cover page.... "Yeah, but she is still thinking over as she just got herself a contract with Chloe. But she was saying it shouldn't be a problem as her contract with Chloe will end mid of this month." Bennett said while he was looking at my design for the Vogue cover that I wanted to show him. I saw the different look on his face.... More of a surprise look....



"I knew I could count on you and when Claudia stands still on this cover, its gonna be a hit when it reaches the stand.... I can foresee that, Carey darling.... Maybe you could change the colour from dark purple to some tropical colours as it is the Summer Edition.... So the colour should also speak for the theme...." said Bennett as he intercoms his secretary, Sarah Brighton, a soft, humble and cheerful gold hair pie....."Help Carey in any way that she wants as she is going to make my Summer Edition blast to the Future and not to forget, get me Claudia on the phone once i'm done here.... i need to check with her back on the front cover issue or else I will need to chase up for some other chick!" while sipping his cup of black coffee as he always like it, less sugar.....



While listening to Craig David's Rendezvous with my mp3, in the subway, getting back to my office, an advertising company..... Suddenly my dream caught my thoughts again... I wonder who is tat guy? Why did he wanna kill me? What did I do to him? Why did he say I deserve to be killed for what I did to him? My mind was so confused all of a sudden and i had a slight turn off.... maybe I should think much.... maybe it is just a dream....



"Carey! I was waiting for u.... I've got this top news for u, wanna hear it?" Tina Noel, my lovely adorable best friend ever since I started working for this ad. company...... "What is it, Tina? What could possibly be?" looking at her puzzled and surprised to look at that happy face..... " Janet just told me that she is going to intro you for Ralph Lauren's add for their new perfume.... Congrats, darl!" jumpin in joy, Tina was hugging me tight.... I was surprised and shocked, i couldn't believe Janet, my Cruella de Vil bossy whould actually suggest me to cover for Ralph Lauren.... Chocked practically... My words were stuck at my throat, half way thru their way to m lips..... It was my all time dream, to be a model for at least a small add and just couldn't believe it had to be for Ralph..... i just love their perfumes and I just can't wait to get my hands on their new item....



"ok, ok, calm yourself down and pretend you did not hear this from me..... I so don't wanna get busted with her..... You know what I mean...." said tina as she walked away.... I just smiled and well, I was still in shock to hear that..... Later on, Janet called me over to her cabin and told me the shocking news again and I had no choice but to pretend that i was overjoyed to hear that, and jumped out of joy again......

~Valentines- Love is Blooming in the Air~

Valentines is the only celebration celebrated by the whole world without a holiday declared. 14th Feb, the day where most flowers are sold expensive, the whole city is painted in red with all the love and flowers blooming around and most of us wish our loved ones gets us something we been wanting from them long time ago "LOVE". Most of us think that Valentines can be celebrated not just with the one you love and spend your life together but also with family and friends.

Lets sail thru the times together and see where and what and who is the founder of valentines......

As everyone know or maybe the most of us know, Valentines Day is named after St. Valentine, a priest who served during the third century in Rome. Valentine means strong and healthy.

According to one tale said before, Valentine actually sent the first 'valentine' greeting himself. While his other life sailed as a prisoner, it is believed that Valentine fell in love with a young girl who was blind, whom could have been his jailor's daughter as per the history says, who visit's him during his confinement day.

Before his death on the 14th Feb, it is alleged that he wrote her a love letter, which he signed 'From your Valentine,' an expression that is still in use today. Which the younger generations does not know that Valentine was actually the name of the saint and it is no longer used in nowadays generation anymore.
